Koostik

If you like the raw, unplugged sound of acoustic music, how about ramping up the volume of your iPhone with a set of speakers that can also deliver music in a similar fashion?

The marriage of engineering acoustics & Apple’s iPhone technology has given birth to the first, non-powered, iPhone docking station called, the 'Koostik.’ With no electricity needed, the ‘Koostik’ is a handmade wooden speaker system that forgoes the use of power and instead uses its material & form to take the sound of your iPhone to new, energy free heights. Check it out:

At first glance, the ‘Koostik’ resembles the shape of other iPhone docking stations, but unlike its carbon heavy peers, the ‘Koostik’ is hand-crafted entirely from wood. Brilliantly designed, the wooden speaker box works with the same basic principle of an acoustic guitar; using a hollow body device to amplify the sound which is ported from the iPhone's internal speaker.

technology meets nature
two-toned perfection
clean finish.

The ‘Koostik’ can be ordered in a few of different color-ways based on the wood types & combinations. Each product is handmade & unique (varying slightly with wood grains & stain colors). The ‘Koostik’ rings in around $90 & its smaller counterpart the ‘Mini Koo’ can be acquired for $70. Hit the source link below to place your order or find out more:

i don't wanna care right now

After dropping a ridiculous mixtape on Thanksgiving, then accumulating Grammy nominations for “Best Rap Performance,” “Best Rap Song,” & “Best Rap Album,” Lupe Fiasco releases the video for 'I Don’t Wanna Care Right Now (featuring MDMA),' off his latest album 'Lasers:'

.. being in an earshot of his music can draw comparisons to 'The Weekndor 'JMSN':

I've had the privledge to get a pre-release sample of, "Cold Heart Chronicles," the debut project from a new artist who goes by the name of Michael Francis. The project set to be released later this month and is chalk full of smooth rhymes & serenades. Michael Francis has been making waves as of late with his leaked singles & today proves no different.

'Cold Heart Chronicles' proves to provide just that, eleven emotionally charged tracks.  With his fourth release on deck, he teams up with fellow New Jersey producer, 'Cito On The Beats,' for an eloquent ballad entitled "Woman." Check out the deep-silky sounds of he previous singles, 'Make Love' & 'Running Through Your Mind,' which are composed by the up & coming producer, 'The University.' Enjoy.
